Adding Geo Fields to Events

I need to tag each event with latitude and longitude.  In 3.7 you could do this. In 4.2 I would be satisifed with being able to add custom fields for these, but I cannot find instructions.  The 3.7 videos are no help, since the Events metadata fields are no longer stored in web.config.  HOW can I add new metadata fields to the events module now? 

UPDATE: I see it now.  The UI to add custom fields does not appear until after you have created at least one event.

It's actually a lot better than the 3.7 method.  No more editing web.config.
