Custom Error Page Not Working on Secondary Level Pages

Hey guys,

I'm currently implementing custom error pages via the webconfig file. At the moment if i enter a correct page it works, obviously. If i enter a broken url e.g. "http://localhost:14858/sitefi" it redirects to my custom 404.aspx page, so that works. If i enter "http://localhost:14858/sitefinity/hom" it doesn't redirect to the custom 404.aspx but it simply shows me the previous page that being http://localhost:14858/sitefinity/. The url doesn't change and so it stays the same.

I think this is a bug in Sitefinity because it doesn't seem to redirect to anything once i go one level or even two levels. If anyone has experienced this and found a solution please let me know.
