We are moving some of our systems over to Silverlight and need to know if there will be any way to integrate SiteFinity into this, preferably through a module that outputs XAML but any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Hello Joshua,

Sitefinity can have widgets that feature your Silverlight applications. We have created two dedicated sample to Silverlight in our SDK:

1. How to create a CoverFlow Siverlight sample using RadControls for Silverlight.
2. How to create a Book Silverlight sample using RadControls for Silverlight.

You can also download the SDK that contains the featured samples. If you give us further details of your Silverlight scenario we will be able to give you better guidelines on how to approach your migration story.

Thank you for contacting us and please let me know if you need further details.

Currently we use sitefinity by allowing our marketing folks to create / edit a Sitefinity object that generates html to represent the text or banner, etc. This html is then used on one of our website to display what marketing created. We want to use it the same way in a Silverlight App... Wondering how to accomplish this...

Hi Joshua,

We don't support XAML exporting in the way Sitefinity handles HTML. We haven't heard of another similar request and this is the reason it is not included in our backlog. Once we gather enough information on this feature so that we can easily define its scope and need, we will consider its priority for our roadmap.

Thank you for raising this suggestion.
