Search Indexing PDF Files in 4.2 - Sitefinity - General Discussions

I've been reading a lot of forum posts per 4.2 regarding the ability to index PDF files via search but there is no definitive answer to whether this is possible in the latest 4.2 version. Just need clarification for a client.

Hi Trevor,

Sitefinity 4.2 doesn`t provide searching in the contents of uploaded documents. We are aware this is desired functionality and will be working to provide it.
