Hello,

We are using Sitefinity 4.2 in our website, and I am just wondering why the campaign state all the created campaigns is always set to "Sending.."?
Please review the attached screenshot.

Hello Antoaneta,
 
We have more than one website that are already live and using this feature, the clients are quite confused so we need to understand the source and impact of the issue along with the workaround that we can do at this time to resolve the issue, if a missing API or a flag that needs to be flipped in the database after the process is complete which can be done by injecting something in the campaign execution pipeline or extending the existing widget, these will all work, we are open to any suggestion for maintaining the consistency of the feature.

Hello Amrelsayed,

Unfortunately at the moment this "Sending..."  state of the campaign doesn't show any progress on sending the campaign. It is only a label resource that can be replaced through the interface. You can do this following the steps bellow:

  1. Go to Administration > Interface Labels & Messages and search for "CampaignStateSending"
  2. Open the result and change the label "Sending ..." to "Sent" or something more meaningful
  3. Save changes
You may need to restart your application in order to apply the change

Hope this will help until we find a better solution for this problem

Hi Petya,

We are currently using Sitefinity 4.2 enterprise trial version.

We got a test mail in email campaign but not any scheduled campaign or if clicked in 'Action'-> 'Send'.

Is this the problem on which support team is working?
