Hosting of several sitefinity projects on one server

Hello,

I've just started evaluating sitefinity and so far it looks really good.
What I want to do is to host several sitefinity websites on my root server. Is that possible? Do I need more than one Sql Server database?
If yes - how many projects I can host? (please tell me space only sitefinity uses or should be available)

It would be nice to hear from you,
regards Norbert

Hello Norbert,

You can have as many website as your server hardware resources can handle.

The best option for you is to create separate databases for each project you create. You can set different websites in IIS and set them to use one application pool, which is properly configured.

Sitefinity stores all images/videos/documets in the database OR if you later decide you can choose other StorageProvider. However almost everything depends on the purpose of those websites.

Kind regards,
