UserControl Issue - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi,

I am using SF4.2.I have a usercontrol "Search1" in one of my page.I deleted it from my tool box.Now I cannot edit the page.When I edit the page the usercontrol is shown at the top of the page and their is no publish button(see the image).I cannot delete the usercontrol also.

I cannot make any change in the page.how can I get out og this..please help me..

Hello Rakesh,

A user control, located on your page can't be deleted it from the toolbox. You need to comment out the ContentPlaceHolder from the head of your master page, because our parser doesn't support content in the that section. After you do that, open your page again and try to delete the control.
