Questionnairs in Sitefinity

Hi All,

We would like ot use the Sitefinity forms controls to build complex questionnairs.
So a sequence of pages would have checkboxes, radio buttons and drop down lists.
We would need subsequent pages to have questions and controls that depend upon
the responses to questions on the earlier pages.

Is this possible within sitefinity? How, in general could this be achieved?

Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

You can build questionnaires in Sitefinity 4.x forms module. We have out of the box form controls that allow you to use multiple choice questions and render them as dropdowns, checkboxes or radio buttons. For more information about working with the forms module you can visit its documentation: Creating and editing forms.

If the built in controls do not satisfy your requirement you can build custom form controls as described in this blog post: Creating Custom Form Controls in Sitefinity.

At the moment we do not have multiple page forms out of the box. However you can achieve this by following the instructions in this forum thread: http://www.sitefinity.com/devnet/forums/sitefinity-4-x/sdk/questionaire.aspx#1475581.
