video tutorials - other format?

Good day,

   I was wondering if there is anywhere I can get the video tutorials for Sitefinity. The reason being is we are behind a firewall that blocks flash and this is what the tutorials appear to be. We have no control over the firewall so was wondering if I can find somewhere where they are in another format.

Thanks,

Rob

Hello Rob,

You can get the url of each video if you can see the player (it contain the link) Copy the HTML link

<object width="545" height="349" id="viddlerOuter-43d33345" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="//www.viddler.com/player/43d33345/0/"> <param name="movie" value="//www.viddler.com/player/43d33345/0/"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="allowNetworking" value="all"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="flashVars" value="f=1&autoplay=f&disablebranding=f"><object id="viddlerInner-43d33345"> <video id="viddlerVideo-43d33345" src="//www.viddler.com/file/43d33345/html5mobile/" type="video/mp4" width="545" height="307" poster="//www.viddler.com/thumbnail/43d33345/" controls="controls" x-webkit-airplay="allow"></video> </object></object> <!--<![endif]-->
The link is http://cdn-static.viddler.com/flash/as3/full-publisher.swf?ref=&key=43d33345&offsetTime=0. What I can suggest is to download the video with a download manager http://cdn-static.viddler.com/flash/as3/full-publisher.swf and convert it to another format that is allowed in your organization.

Hi Stanislav,

   Had tried that earlier with  no luck. I have since found out that our firewall blocks all streaming media and no exceptions. Looks like I am out of luck.
