"Special" membership setup

There may be a way to do this that I'm not seeing right away, and this is why I'm asking.

I want to be able to have an "account manager". Where someone can signup and manage sub accounts. I will have paid content. I want a supervisor to have control over sub accounts, but not the person logging in. They would have access to the content, but not able to make changes. So the sub account would be a read only account. The account manager will be able to purchase additional items for a sub account or group of accounts.

Is it even possible to do this kind of setup with Sitefinity? If not, or if so, is there a better way of doing it?

Also if I wanted users to submit content and be able to manage their content would I need the Custom Workflow setup?

Hi Tyler,

Well, when you go to Administration -> Permissions -> Global Permissions there are some actions related to users like Manager Users, Manager Roles. By default only Administrators can execute those, but you can create a special role that has access to this but has only View permissions for other content like Pages, News, etc.

The default Workflow are based on Author/Approval conception, if this isn't what you need then you would need to use a Custom Workflow. However custom workflows are only allowed in Professional and Enterprise versions of Sitefinity.
