Reset Password - Doesn't

Has anyone seen an issue where an administrator logs in to reset a users password (having to do this for all accounts because the upgrade from 3.7 to 4.2 won't let any former users log in), clicks the Reset Password button, clicks Yes on the javascript confirm window, and the page refreshes without the Reset Password button but also without the new password and no yellow shaded area that the password is suppose to be in? This actually worked yesterday morning but didn't by the afternoon. I wish I knew what all changes had been made, but we had people modifying custom role permissions (again, because they didn't migrate with the upgrade from 3.7 to 4.2) and setting up system email configurations for the SMTP ... the list goes on. I checked the log file on the server, but there were no errors logged for yesterday.

thanks in advance

Hello Dewayne,

This is really strange. If that's of any help - the latest internal build of Sitefinity 4.3 keeps the old passwords for the migrated users. If you have properly set SMTP settings then the user for whom the password gets changed should receive an email with the new password.
