Page permissions
Good day,
I have several pages on our web site that when a user logs in I want them not to be able to see. If I set the view permissions on the page, I only want administrators to see when they login, to administrators only. Works fine as other users login they do not see the pages. The problem is when a user goes to the the actual web site out of Sitefinity that page no longer appears in the links. I thought the permissions I sign for view just were for those logging into SF itself and had nothing to do with the actual viewing of the web site. How do I assign permissions to restrict the view of the page and only affect those logging into SF and not the actual web site.
Thanks
Rob
Ok found out how to do what I was after. On the page permissions I left so Everyone could view the page and its child pages but went to change then Advanced to Explicitly deny this to selected roles and users and chose the role(s) that I did not want to see it when they logged in. This had no effect on the viewers viewing the actual web site itself.
