Module Builder put a smile on my face today!

I just wanted to post a note of thanks to the Sitefinity team for delivering the Module Builder feature in 4.4. I upgraded this morning and by afternoon I have my first custom module in place and populated with data. For some types of widgets this will be a huge time saver and in some cases has a nicer interface than I'd have time to code up myself. That will free me up to work on the bigger tasks.

For example, it works great to provide some structure to downloadable files. We have a lot of PDF forms to publish. Using Module Builder I can easily provide some meta data and structure to a list of files that would normally be poorly suited for the file widget.

So thanks again. :-) (I know I've posted my share of tech support questions and gripes - just wanted to make sure I was sharing some smiles and thumbs up too)

Happy Holidays!
Dan

Hello Dan Sorensen,

Thank you for the warm message. We are doing our best to include much more interesting features in the module builder for the upcoming release. Stay tuned for any updates on what is coming :)

Another smile from me :)

Question though - why is it not possible to delete a module?

Hi Nick,

There is a great answer to your question in the forums. You can  take a look there, here is the link:
