Hi All,

I am getting the following error on the production server:

Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pk_sf_taxonomies'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.sf_taxonomies'. The duplicate key value is (d7831091-e7b1-41b8-9e75-dff32d6a7837).
The statement has been terminated.

How can I fix this?

Please HELP.

What were you doing when this happened? Perhaps try backing up the DB and deleting that key from the DB so it won't throw an error trying to insert it?

Hi Steve,

I backed up the database, but couldn't delete the key due to a reference constraint.

How should I proceed?

Darn okay...Do you have any idea what caused it, like what were you doing before it happened...did you add a new custom field, were you tagging items, or making a new page?
