Searchable/Sortable objects?

I have a client who wants to include Bios of all of their employees on their Sitefinity site as pages and be able to list an excerpt or link to those bios alphabetically at first, but also be sortable by different categories (like department, where they went to college, etc.)

Is there anyway to do this in Sitefinity 4.4 nativity or by using a module?

You can use the lists module and create bios like list items. This way you will be able to set tags or categories to them and then use a taxonomies widget on a page to filter them. Does this suit you requirement?
