Using a 3rd party for development - license file question

Is there any threat to giving a 3rd party development company our license file if they're doing work for us? Is there a temporary license file or something of that nature that we could distribute instead?

Hi Jeff -

We've worked like this before without any issues. The worst (I believe) that could happen is the development company could use that version of your license for other Sitefinity projects, although if deployed to a live site, they would receive the trial warning message since the URL wouldn't match the registered URL for the website.

I wouldn't worry about it.
