Autologin

I have no idea how to do this and have not found a way to make this work.  How would you go about logging people into sitefinity so they can add/edit blog content without having to go through the sitefinity login control.  We have a seperate application with its own users/roles/passwords and want to autologin to specific accounts for certain users, is this possible?  I've tried doing post requests to the login form and trying to figure out what the claims authentication is all about, but am having no luck.

I looked at that one, but was not sure what I was suppose to do. I can't find anything on using the claims authentication.  Its all new to me.
