How to include individual aspx pages in search results

Is there a way to include aspx pages in a search?

For anyone who was wondering... creating a page and setting it as a redirect to the aspx page indexes it in the search.

Its not doing that on mine. I have a redirecting page which points to an external website, when I search with the title of the page i created, it's not pulling up this redirecting page. (Yes, I re indexed). Is there anything else that I need to do to make the search index to include this redirecting page.
