What about this 'feature' in 5.1?

"KendoUI will be utilized more in the Sitefinity backend - this will allow less JavaScript to be served to the user's browser, resulting in backend load times as much as twice as fast, allowing you to create and edit content items at an amazing speed".

Did this made it to the release?

Hi Daniel,

Partially yes - we have laid the foundations which will allow us to optimize Sitefinity even more in the future. We use Kendo UI exclusively in the Email campaigns module, some of the field controls have been reworked, page publishing has been speed up.

We are continuing with the optimization trends with the future releases as well.
