Upgrading an existing 5.0 SP1 project to 5.1 that has custom modules.

I followed the upgrade document (including the web.config changes) and it went smooth. The problem I have is in the Sitefnity Project Manager it says the project is 5.1.3210.0 and the project administration says it is 5.0.

Where is the disconnect?

I've encounted incomplete upgrades a few times, where the projectmanager reports the new version (as per the projects.xml file) but the dll versions in the project tell me something different.

I prefer developing my projects using local IIS rather than casini, and find that upgrades don't always complete if I have the site running at the time... presumably because some files are open.

If I shutdown the site and web-application before running the upgrade, then it's reliable.
