Header Image Problem - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hello,

I'm using SiteFinity 5.1 trial version.

I would like to have header image similar to university.sitefinity.com

but for each page image would be different. How it should be handled?

Problem is few page contains header image and others don't.

Hi Nilesh,

Probably you should make a template with let say 2 placeholders. Make sure your pages are based on this template.

In the first placeholder you can place the banner/image. The second placeholder is for the other content. When you not placing the image in the first placeholder, the banner just won't show up.

How the markup behaves then is of course something you should try out and make a workable solution with HTML and CSS.

Thanks Daniel.

I've not worked much with SiteFinity and hence I often forget to work with it the way you mentioned. When I asked the question, I'd something else going on in my mind (may be we can change the banner for the page programmatically). However I am still open to suggestions if there's any other way than you mentioned.
