Forms Notification - How does it work?

Hi,

Just a quick post regarding the functionality of Forms Notification in Sitefinity 5.1. I'm thinking of upgrading from version 4.3 to 5.1 where in 4.3 we had to use an add-on for form notifications.

When a form is submitted via our website, will the newly built-in Sitefinity forms notification feature send all of the form data via email to it's intended recipient or will it only inform the recipient that a form has been submitted and to view the full details we must log into Sitefinity?

Hey Robert,

It will send out an email similar looking to what is shown when you click on a response in the backend of Sitefinity.

It will be send by whatever profile you define, so it will still be just a 'notification', although you can tweak the header part (not the field repeater) somewhat to suit your needs.
