Categories are always "OR"...could it be a true "AND"
In the news/events/document links there is a way to Narrow Selection by Categories and then you select one or many categories. Is it possible to toggle this to be THIS a true "AND" statement?
As it stands now, it shows all items that fit into THIS category OR THIS category OR THIS category.
I'd like it to be if it is THIS category AND THIS category AND THIS category.
In my example if you have 50 Category A items, 10 Category B items, 5 Category C items then the feed might only show 5 items max because that's how many fit into all three categories. As it works now, you'd see 65 items max because that's how many fit into ALL combined.
If I could toggle this, I wouldn't do it sitewide--just as needed
Would be great to be able to make AND operations on categories. We are struggling with the same problem.
+20, 99 people out of 100 would think this is how it works...it's a filter.
"Give me all items that match this criteria"
If it was to be an "OR" scenario it should be like segments where you add another filter block or something.
However I think you can do what you need with a custom filter expression in "Advanced"...you just need the taxa Guids.
