Password Recover Link not displayed - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hey all,
When logging into the backend pages if the user inputs the wrong password, the password recovery link is not shown.
I have checked the Adminstration-> Settings -> Advanced -> Security -> Membership Providers -> Default -> Parameters -> enablePasswordRecovery is set to true.
I get the Incorrect Username/Password Combination message, btill no link on MySite.com/Sitefinity/Authenticate/SWT?...

How do i get this to show up?

Dear Mark

Of course recovery is only possible if not hashed.
SMTP Setting must be correct at some palces

www.sitefinity.com/.../configuring-password-recovery-in-sitefinity this should be a starting point.

You might also want to check under Administration - Basic - Authentification if you are on Claims or forms. My forgot password link did not show up till I changed it to forms.

And let me tell you I was looking all over the place.
