Breadcrumb Root Url

Can we please change the default "Root" breadcrumb URL to just "/" instead of "/home" or whatever the homepage url was set to?  Nobody wants their ROOT homepage to have 2 urls...

 I'm really kinda hackishly overriding it in a custom version :)
