Is a custom module still necessary to show the common format - Sitefinity - General Discussions

I want blog post urls that look like [site]/[blogName]/[slug without blog name in it] . This seems to be the common case for blogs that I am familiar with. Is this process still necessary for this behavior:

www.sitefinity.com/.../custom_url_formats_for_sitefinity_content_modules

Thank you for using our services.

We would recommend going with a custom provider as this would ensure the correct format is loaded each time the provider is initialized.
