How to Grant FTP Access - Sitefinity - General Discussions

I have zero website admin experience, but need to grant a third party FTP access to our website. We are using a Sitefinity v 5.1. Can someone help me out, and explain how I do this?

Hi Nicholas,

I assume you have setup your website that it runs on IIS? There you can configure FTP access to e.g. the root of your Sitefinity project.

If you can't or won't use IIS for FTP access, you could try a 3rd party FTP Server.

Daniel is correct. Using one of the configuration guides on the internet should be able to guide you how to configure IIS to allow FTP access.
