Upgrade 5.1 project to 5.2 project, but with a 5.4 project a

Hi

If I have downloaded the 5.4 Project Manger and have created a 5.4 project, but find out that I have a 5.1 project I need to upgrade, which I need 5.2 Project Manager to be able to upgrade 5.1 to 5.2 first, do I just download the 5.2 Project Manager and install over the top of 5.4? Or will that muck up the 5.4 project that I have created? Any help on what I need to do, much appreciated.

Hi Richard,

I've done this same thing a few times in the last 2 weeks, in preparation for a final Sitefinity upgrade and website migration to an external host.

So, your question specifically: you can download both 5.2 and 5.4 project managers and their licenses. Since 5.4 is the latest version, place it at C:\Program Files\Telerik\Sitefinity 5.4.

Place the 5.2 manager right on the desktop. Once you're done with the upgrade, you can remove it.
