Database deadlocks - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi there,

I'm noticing database deadlocks in sitefinity (Build 6.0.4100.0) with a database utility we use (sql server spotlight). The affected object name is 'master.sys.sysdbreg' and the transaction name from the process is 'CLEAN DB'.

I have no idea how/why these deadlocks are occurring (they are currently appearing every few hours) -- they seem to be non-user generated. The site itself still seems to be running fine though... Does anybody have any insight?

Thank you for contacting us.

I have verified with the developers and the dbas that they have not encountered such deadlocks before and the issue is not caused by Sitefinity. If anyone from the community has encountered this before, hopefully they will be able to shed some light on this issue.
