Image widget and content widget - choose custom image size

I have a brand new installation 6.1 it seemst that the new thumbnail functionality where you can choose what size to be used is only available in galery.

Am I missing something or is this not yet implemented. Why I would like to have it? Because then I can set thumbnail sizes for different layout 

2 columns 500 px wide
3 colums  300 px wide

and the customer could then use the correct size.

My bad. 

I did choose to recreate the thumbs but did not realize that you have to set which thunbs to be created per galery.
