301 redirects not working for PDF's

Hi all,

Setting up a broken link with a pdf extension to redirect to a Sitefinity page does not seem to be working for me.  I'm going through the usual process of adding the URL's by going to Pages -> Title and Properties -> Allow Multiple URL's.

Interestingly, something like ~/example.html redirects as you would expect, however a page ending with ~/example.pdf does not, and simply returns a 404.

Has anybody else experienced this issue?

Thanks,
Matt

I figured out a solution!  In case anyone else encounters this, here is what I did:

1.  Go to Administration -> Settings
2.  Selected "Advanced"
3.  Select "Pages" from the menu.
4.  Under "Not allowed page extensions," remove .pdf.

Thanks so much for posting your solution. This was just what I needed for a PDF redirect!
