Google Analytics Code Update - Can't Get It To Validate Tracking Code

We use an older version of Sitefinity 3.7 and I use the TomDev Google Analytics Control because I have never been able to figure out where to put tracking code on this version. It's so hard to work with. The Control has been working perfectly until Google Analytics wants you now to change your code to make it compatible with remarketing...and to see any demographics tracking information at all about your website.

So I inserted the new part of the code as you can see from the screen shot. It used to be:

.google-analytics.com/ga.js

I published and GA will not validate the code. I changed code on another website using Wordpress and it did just fine.

Help please?

hi kara... I don't use sitefinity but I have the same problem.   I just hit "skip validation" and it has worked fine since.  IT's not really very useful information you get, but it does seems to be working!
