Sitefinity Document Versioning and Reverting

Hello,

Sorry for opening a new thread.
Actually, I am looking at an old thread "Sitefinity Document Versioning".

It is stated that this feature was not yet available in Sitefinity 4.0.
Does the newest version of Sitefinity support document versioning in the libraries?
That means after following the example given by Andrei:

Example:
1 - I am uploading a document in a library.
2 - Then I edit the same document outside Sitefinity.
3 - Then I re-upload it again (the edited version) on top of the original one.

Are there any methods to rollback the document to the original one?
I am asking this because in my local testing environment, I am only able to rollback the metadata (e.g. Author, Description, Other details). However, I am not able to rollback the file (the .docx file).

Thanks in advance.

Hello Minami,

Currently we do not provide functionality to revert to a previous version of a document or file.

We have already logged it in our system as a feature request and we will take it into consideration in our future releases. Here is the link to our feedback portal where you can track its progress and vote to increase its popularity.

Can we expect this feature to be released sometime soon? Or it does not have any time specification?
