Official Hosting Partner with Sever 2012 R2 IIS 8.5 -> Ap

Well since Arvixe is an official Hosting Partner for Sitefinity I take the liberty to inform you that the new VPS with Arvixe are now on Server 2012 R2 with IIS 8.5.

 Why this information. Well Sitefinity can use some RAM at times which means that you can not add to many sites on a VPS without running the risk on running low on RAM .

 Now IIS 8.5 has the new feature where you can set the Idle-Time-out Action to suspend

www.iis.net/.../idle-worker-process-page-out-in-iis85

 This will lower the RAM usage temporarily if the site is idle. If a site is accessed the site does not need to be recompiled from 0 and is kind of warmed up.

 So if you are looking for this feature: Arvixe is one of Teleriks partner which would let you use this feature. Don't know if other partners are on 2012 R2 yet.
