News best place to store PDF links? - Sitefinity - General Discussions

We are moving to 7.0 and want all our PDF files to use links to our external Content system. So we will no longer store any PDF files in the database.

Is the News area the best place to store this?

Thank you for contacting us.

If you want to add the PDF links to your News item, the easiest approach would be to create a custom field:Custom fields and you can store the link to the PDF in that field for that particular News item.

If I have misunderstood your request, please, get back to us with some additional information regarding the scenario and we will suggest a solution accordingly.
