Custom Classification not work in multi language

Hii,

currently i used 6.3.500 version. for one of my requirement i make the custom classification of newsCategory of Hierarchical list. but it work in single language but when i use this in multi language it will not give me the result perfectly.

i have both lang in project. english and arbic. for english if i short news by custom classification it will show the result sort by category but not in arbic language.

pls help me

I have tested the scenario that you described by creating custom classification and adding translation to it in both languages. Then when I have created a news item I am able to associate every translation of the news item to the localized version of the classification. For example if you have DressCode classification and translation “DressCode(arabic)” in the Arabic translation of the news item you get to choose classification from the localized “DressCode(arabic)”.
