You have requested a file from older product minor version

I have run the "Sitefinity Project Manager" (version shown is 6.3.5000.0)
I clicked "Create New Project"
I gave the project a name and clicked next
I entered my username and password and clicked next
selected "standard"
selected "free trial"
Received the error in the attached screenshot.

I am a bit confused. You wrote in the first post that you had the project manager. Are you talking about license or Sitefinity. 

Sitefinity 

- Log into your account

- Choose sitefinity from the main menu Produts & Subscriptions

- Click on Download (installer and other rescources)

- Lick on older Versions

- Download 6.3.5000

License

- Log into your account

- Choose sitefinity from the main menu Produts & Subscriptions

- Click on Mange Domains and Licenses

- Click on Mange next to the domain you want the lic for

- Click on Show Available Keys

- Download the key you need.

You might have not started the trial and you might not have a Sitefinity license. What we could suggest you is to start the procedure of installing Sitefinity again following our Sitefinity documentation:
