Hi,

Currently we have Sitefinity 3.5 version and would like to upgrade to the latest version 7. Let me know the feasibility, challenges in migrating from 3.5 to 7 or is it better to rewrite the code.

 Thanks and Regards

Ragu

Dear Ragurama

First of all you would have to take the 3.5 up to 3.7 SP4 before even considering upgrading/updating to 7.0

As of its better to rewrite depends on much different things. Once in a while I think its better to start of fresh and lose some balast on the way.

Hello Ragurama,

I noticed you have opened a duplicate post here:

where my colleague has provided some valuable resources.
