Bulk edit content types

In the content types Images and Documents & Files there is the ability to bulk edit tags etc through the 'More actions' button.  Is it possible to add the bulk edit option to the More actions button in other content types, like News?  I've created a custom module so what I'd really like is to be able to bulk edit items in this.

This request is indeed interesting and we have a feature request logged for this functionality. You can find the request's description in our Portal. The feature regards pages, but once it is implemented - the methodology for content items is basically the same. Please follow the status of the request and feel free to vote for it in order to increase its priority.
