External Widget Template not picked up for Events

Hi,

I'm using Sitefinity 7.3 and have tried to define an external template for an Events Widget as per the following page:

I've restarted Sitefinity and checked the settings over and over however it is still picking up the default template for the Events Widget.

I'm selecting a SingleEventItem, Current Opened Event Item and the Full event Item template then selecting Advanced -> Control Definition -> Views -> Events Front End List. 

I'm adding:

~/App_Data/Sitefinity/WebsiteTemplates/Centinyx/WidgetTemplates/Events/SingleEvent.ascx

into the TemplatePath

which is the path of my external template however it is still now found.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Hello Paul,

In order to update use external Template for Single Event Item, you need to set the TemplatePath of "EventsFrontendEdit".
