Upgrade path

Hi,

  I'm currently running version 7.0. I'd like to get current.

 Do I need to upgrade through every version or is it possible to skip installation of at least some of them?

 I'm running on Windows Server 2012 R2, SQL Server 2012.

Sitefinity used to support upgrade from the previous two releases, but there new upgrade model allows you to upgrade to the latest release directly.  Also, here are the notes from the Sitefinity documentation site.  Hope this helps.
