Sitemap generator: wrong url - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi,

we would like to use the Sitemap generator. We followed the instruction published on docs.sitefinity.com/sitemap-generator.

The url does not reflect the website url.

We set to the website url

Single site environment:
Settings » Advanced » System » Site Url Settings.

The file generated are

localhost/.../sitemap-index.xml
http://localhost/sitemap.gz

Both the files contain inside localhost instead of website url.

Could you please advise?

Hi Alberto,

I suppose that when the issuing of sitemap generation was done the site was hosted at localhost and thus all URLs reflect localhost. Please confirm this.

When the website gets deployed to a named domain it will reflect this domain name in the sitemap.
If the case differs than this please let me know what the current url where the site is hosted and also the url entries in the sitemap.

Hi Stanislav,

we found the solution.

We have a single site but We had also to configure the multisite configuration.
