Bootstrap and Mobile Design

I've started my project by adding in the Bootstrap CSS and also trying to use the responsive design module by Sitefinity.  I understand that Project Feather has now been setup, but I don't want to have to recreate by Project.

Is there some basic rules to using Bootstrap with the Sitefinity mobile design module that I can use, so I don't en up in a muddle?  Or is it best to throw in the towel and start my project again using Feather?
