Integrating Sharepoint Content Into Sitefinity Site with Sea

How hard would it be to index a SharePoint site and integrate that into a Sitefinity sites search functionality, so that results would return with relevant data from both the host Sitefinity site and the SharePoint portal?  Most of what I have read about looks like it is talking about replacing local search with searching the SP portal.
