Edit buttons locked

If you look at the attached file you will see the field options are all "locked" or "disabled"

I am 99% sure it because I have a custom control that has an error.

The problem is that i dont know how to resolve this issue. I can't delete the broken control. I have fixed the issue and the system has re-initalized but the form is still bugged.

Any ideas how to resurrect this.

The solution is to exlude the broken control from the project. Build and reload the site. The form should show that the bugged control is no longer avaliable diabling the control allowing you to delete it.

All the edit options will return.

That is a great way to overcome the issue.

The other option is to use the Sitefinity API to remove the control from the page: http://docs.sitefinity.com/for-developers-remove-a-control-from-a-page
