How has support for images/galleries etc. improved since Sit

Hi,

We are running Sitefinity 7.1 but are starting to plan to migrate to version 8 or 9 this year. We are especially curious to know whether there are new or improved tools for working with images, either with regard to image library management or working with images in posts/pages.

The Sitefinity 8.0 notes mentioned new widgets for 'Image widget' and 'Image gallery widget' but I can't find much detail about these or other features.

Would our website editors notice a marked improvement in Sitefinity 8/9 compared to version 7 when working with images?

Major improvement was Multilingual Support in 9.0 (docs.sitefinity.com/media-content

And another small minor fixes between 7.1 and 9.1 for image libraries.

In Sitefinity 8.0 they introduced new Feather widgets (Image widget and Image Gallery widget)
