Move From File System Storage Provider To Database

Hello.  I have seen a lot of discussion about moving from the database storage provider to the file system, but not the other way around.  We have taken over maintenance of a site, and it looks like we need to make that change.  Is there a good explanation somewhere on how to do this?

I know not direct way. You can crate image library with database provider. And after that move all you images form old library (with filesystem provider) to new library

Hi and thank you for the reply.  The problem with that is that we would have to hunt down every link and point them to the new location.  It is not just images, but also Word docs, PDFs, and sundry other file types. That would be... daunting.  There is no way the customer would pay for that.  We need to come up with a way that is at least mostly automated.

Or am I missing something?
