KUIB blank view - two components in same column?

Is it possible to add two components to the same column in a blank view? If not, why not?

Yes. Add a row to the column, in the row add two columns. put a component in each of the new columns column.

The columns and rows enable the responsive behavior provided by Bootstrap.
