In https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/combobox/index the page shows the fabric and size being pre-selected.
When I look at the code, it shows the setting of the index option. OK. Great. I have done this and it works OK, but what if I don't know the index, since the data is loaded from a remote table, but only know the value I want to default? Do I search the data to find the index of the desired value or is there another setting I could use instead?
