How to stop .resx files deploying encrypted

Hi Guys,

Company I'm working at are using the great Roundtable (I believe 11.6.3). We have some .Net forms in the application and we have just realized that, even after following the suggested way to set it up for these .Net forms (as suggested here: https://www.roundtable-software.com/roundtable/resource/pdf/wp/Gui4DotNet.pdf), when we release them in deployments, they are coming out with some sort of encryption. Is there a way to turn this off while still monitoring them in Roundtable?

TIA
Molly

Good question. This could be a subtlety that we overlooked. :-\

Unfortunately, the encryption is for all Object parts and cannot be set on a part-by-part basis. To immediately work around, you would need to clear the Encryption property for the Object and deploy as source. If that source must be encrypted, it could be done with some post-deployment processing via an event hook.

It may be best to contact us via support@roundtable-software.com.

Thanks.

FYI, this has been fixed for 11.8 (coming soon).
